Can't believe this is for free. And without adds. Please ignore all other reviews. Even this free version is fully featured. Can't believe the devs where kind enough to give all this for free without adds. I mean, the paid version of this app just adds some trivial features like anytime save and multiple control profiles. Nothing you can't live without. Moreover the app is well made, and so far, bug free. The performance is perfect.
I love this This app is the best emulator for GBA on the Google Play Store as far as I've experienced. I do have a few suggestions and questions. First, I'm a person who's interested in making TASes using this app, but unfortunately there is no frame advance option (allowing you to play the game 1 frame at a time and make a 'perfect playthrough') that would make me want to suggest this app alot more than I already do. Way better emulators out there This is buggy on HTC One m9. In addition saves do not work, touch sensitivity is way too low and the settings make no difference, random crashes, custom mapping of buttons leads to random inputs, almost all features of an emulator are locked out. This is barely a useable program, IDK why this has so many 5 star ratings.
Good except It doesn't let me push or hold more than 2 buttons at a time. I've tried to see if i can set it up in the options but i couldn't do it. Unfortunately i can't progress with some games. But it's still pretty good for a free app. If it's fixed, or someone knows how, it would be great. Update: bought the full version and it doesn't work either
Taking away features! The only reason I'm giving it such a low rating is because in previous version you were able to put cheats with multiple lines in, now you can't after a recent update which means you have to input them 1 at a time when they can have up to 50 lines!
Inappropriate ads Great emulator, easy to use, does what you need to play all your favorite games. It contains some inappropriate ads though. I understand the need for ads but you guys should do a better job of sifting through which you include. If that happen this review will easily jump to a 5.
Great app. No issues. Played Pokémon Ruby for over 5 hours and never had a single bug or error. App doesn't drain battery at all, probably slower than Facebook or Twitter. Only thing I'd request is an opacity setting for the buttons, they're a bit hard to see sometimes on a brightly colored background. Not something to drop the review about. Thinking of buying the full version for gyro control (for Warioware).

I love this app My pokemon emerald clock has died rip. This is a great way to revive my love for pokemon on gba. This is the best emulator I see nothing wrong with it. Although if there is one small thing I would change is that when the phone is tilted lengthways we could see a more astecially pleasing control part instead of a black screen and white buttons but other than that it is amazing.
Random Data Loss As an emulator, it works very well. Runs reasonably smoothly, audio is very good, however it has crashed on me once. The problem is, when it does crash, you lose all data in a game meaning I've lost 7 hours of data. For this reason, I would not recommend it to anyone as losing your data most games is devastating especially if their is inconsistencies between play-throughs such as random level ups.
Straight to the point I loved using this emulator. I can play all my favourite games that I played when I was a kid, like advance wars. Its relatively straight forward to use, the firmware has been programmed well and the user interface is great, even if it has some limitations due to the fact that it is run on a touch screen. I haven't run into any Bugs yet nor is it bogged down in a myriad of obnoxious ads. It is a great app if you miss playing the Gameboy, this is a very suitable app for its purpose and runs smoothly.
It's good yeah. but in order to load a saved game it tries to make you pay money and I can't leave off from where I saved unless I buy the app..

Can't start When i opened the app it will just show the app logo on the top left corner of the screen and it will always show a black screen no matter what you do. I would be happy if you are able to fix this
In some games it's hard to play For example, Super Mario World 2, when I try to make a button combination like RIGHT + B + A to make Mario Fly it's so strange and it's impossible. Sometimes I get lag, it's not vert useful and not speed as it seems.

Good stuff Works perfect. Can switch from vertical to horizontal orientation quickly. Can be fine tuned so buttons don't block the view. Haven't had any problems. The hardest part is finding good roms.
Roms Any suggestions on where to download the Roms from in don't want to be going to some wack page and having to search through bogus games or roms to fund ones that work
Good EM. False advertising. But it offers free cheat code entry.. But you can't put on codes more than one line long, without updating. That makes the main 'must be on' code to make the other codes work unavailable, so in all reality you don't ACTUALLY get cheats without updating. Just saying it's false advertising.
I don't understand. I love this emulator. Don't get me wrong. I can play games that I loved to as a kid but can't now. I would really like if the cheats could be multiple line. I have tried what sites like Supercheats have said and separate lines into different codes. But even that doesn't help. Please add multi line. Please. I'm begging you.
It's amazing, I've always wanted to play Pokemon Emerald again. But, the strangest thing happened. Just today, I opened My Boy, opened Pokemon Emerald, and found that my Save File had been Deleted :/ I can't seem to understand why this happened. I'm really disappointed.. ..But either way, this emulator is great. I wish I could understand why that happened though..

It's decent I think the latest update was unnecessary. However, this lets me play Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, which is absolutely brilliant. I like this emulator anyways, but it adds that much more to it.
To people who say cheat support is false.. You can use master codes, and multi line cheats. You just have to enter each line as an individual cheat. Inconvenient, but at least it works.
A Solid Enough Emulator Runs virtually all of my roms pretty well at a consistent framerate, however, I think it's kind of sketchy that I have to buy the 'full version' to use features like Save States. Overall, it's a good emulator that runs well, and I would recommend this.
Problem: The programs downloaded for the Office Free Offer have not been working. With this purchase, I was informed about the Microsoft Office Free Offer for College Students, which gives the student a free download of Outlook, Publisher, and Access. Excel download for mac. The programs from the Office Home package have been installed fine and work properly.

Warning Amazing app an truly remarkable but i would advise buying the full version. i went ahead and got pokemon fire red, got 1/2 way through beating the elite four then my data was all deleted. i was mad cause i had an articuno and moltres, so i was angry that my data was reset. app works great and i would advise getting it, but be wary of this :D
Good, but.. The app works fine. It plays games super smoothly, and that's great. However, I don't enjoy how something as simple as save states are locked behind the paid version.

Great app, but I cant press two buttons at a time, and that realy bothers me, for when i try to jump in my mario game i end up dying because the jump button doesnt work unless i let go of the button i use to move.

There's still input lag.. Since my last review, I've gotten a software update for my LG G4 and there is still a delay when pressing a button on both my Bluetooth controller and wired controller. I've also confirmed this on my Moto G. You have to fix this! No other emulator on the play store performs as well as this one!

Excellent GBA Emulator! By far the very best one so far. Have never had any real problems, I'm actually editing my original post because I noticed I only gave 4 stars due to what I thought was a ROM issue for them not showing up. Typical mistake always double check your files and make sure it's all under the correct file domain, save files must be named exactly as the rom, you can actually rename it to function with another rom of the same game type ex; Fire.Red.sav to Leaf.Green.sav it will now work for your Leaf.Green.zip rom.
